And the speaking will get easier and easier. And you will find you have fallen in love with your own vision, which you may never have realized you had. And you will lose some friends and lovers, and realize you don’t miss them. And new ones will find you and cherish you. And you will still flirt and paint your nails, dress up and party, because, as I think Emma Goldman said, “If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution.” And at last you’ll know with surpassing certainty that only one thing is more frightening than speaking your truth. And that is not speaking. Audre Lorde (via quotes-shape-us)

It’s worth every fucking second. The good, the bad, and the ugly. All of it. It’s all worth it. Just say fuck it and live how you want to. How you dream life should be. You can make it happen. We are like cruse ships. We can go anywhere and do anything. All we need is a destination….a Destination…A DESTINATION. Without a destination you’re just a ship chillin in the docks. Go where you want to go. Struggle to get there. But GET THERE. The pain along the way will be worth now. Also if you’ve adopted the destination of someone else, no the struggle won’t be worth it. Because you don’t even want to go to that destination. This is why it’s important to follow your own path. If you don’t follow your own dream in life, YES I will say you wasted your life. This is why I stress follow your own dream. No matter how crazy the shit sounds. It’s supposed to sound crazy. It’s a LIFE dream. You have 80+ years to make it happen. It’s not a short term thing. So let me rephrase myself. Life is only worth living if you’re living it on your own terms and following your own path. Luckily it’s never too late to change that. If you want to sing..take lessons, if you want to dance..take lessons, if you want to draw….TAKE LESSONS AND LEARN. Everyone started off from the bottom talent wise. Some are naturally gifted but hard work can easily over take those people. Don’t be intimidated. Just learn and enjoy the fact you’re living life how you want to. If you do this, you will become great at whatever you do. Oh and cut yourself some slack once in a while. We’re all human we all make mistakes. Welcome them, because they’re learning experiences we can grow from.
